What do I do if I find a dead bird?
(Is this question really frequently asked?)
I quote:
Establish how long the bird has been dead. If the bird has been dead longer than 24 hours or you are not sure then double bag the bird and throw it in the trash.
If the bird has been dead less than 24 hours, call the Orange County Vector Control District to arrange for a pick-up. They need to speak directly to you to coordinate a pick-up. (Telephone number)
Orange county Vector Control District will make it priority to pick up all dead birds although they can never guarantee that a specific bird will be picked up.
Very helpful indeed...
What would you do?

Seriously? How the HELL would I know how long the bird has been dead? Carbon dating?
I would leave the bird right where it was...not my job to pick up or report dead birds. For the love!!
Get a life people!
Go have a picnic or a party at the senior center!
I would keep walking, I think.
That's nature, right? A bird dies, it's eaten by another animal...
I can't believe that's a frequently asked question...it's more like a FREAK-quently Asked Question.

You said it...very funny!
I would double bag the Orange County Vector Control Officer. Then..and I couldn't resist this line... "Flip" him the bird. Besides.. they would probably show up after the bird was dead for more than 24 hours.. and tell you it's your problem.
..............OR............
I'd make lunch.
If it is posted as a FAQ then several people have asked it. I agree with Ali, keep walking and hopefully a cat will come along and have a tasty lunch. If people have time to call the bird police they have entirely too much time on their hands. Come do my laundry if you have nothing to do.
Well, as a person that's asked that question MANY MANY times before........jk. I wonder how many people actually asked that question before they posted it on their website.
