Years and years ago I remember my father saying to me, "Do you know what the advantages are to getting older?" Expecting pearls of wisdom from the lips of the man who had taught me a few things…
I waited for the answer: "Nothing. There is no advantage to getting older at all”.

And all I’d been doing was waiting to get older.
But I found that they were pearls of wisdom after all.

Oh goodness, I don't agree at all! I LOVE getting older...I LOVE realizing who I am and I LOVE having my kids grown and on their own! I think being older avails you SO many opportunities that are not there when you're younger...
You can come and go as you like. Buy what you like, take care of YOURSELF! You can go to breakfast with friends and not ever go home til bed time if you don't want! Getting older is magnificent and I feel better (and, ironically, YOUNGER) than I ever have.
Life is sooo good.
And it just gets better!
